The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee are elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Additional members can be co-opted during the year to fill any vacancies that arise.
Some committee members have specific roles in which they represent BCA, this includes regular meetings with the Directors of the Adults and Communities Directorate.
The Committee meets once a month to discuss currents carers concerns and upcoming events and any other work that BCA is involved with.
BCA has been involved in consultations but are now getting more involved in service planning, staff training and other vital areas which impact on the carer’s experience at home.
BCA always welcomes willing volunteers who have the time and a commitment to helping others.
Every carer has experience to contribute and BCA strives to improve the lives of carers.
