Birmingham Carers Association makes our AGM an opportunity for you as Carers to have your say to the people that matter. We meet in the Council House because it is central for everyone and for the last two years we have been welcomed by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham and his Lady Mayoress. We have also had the presence of Councillor Sue Anderson, the Cabinet Member and Peter Hay,the Strategic Director for Adults and Communities - formerly Social Services. Representatives of Birmingham Carers Association took part in a special study on Domiciliary Care organised by the Commission for Social Care Inspection. They attended a seminar in London to offer their views on what will help the sector to expand, improve and develop.
